This policy explains what information is collected when you use Jobs Curated (jobscurated.com), why, and the choices you have. Jobs Curated is a free job-discovery guide. We do not ask you to create an account, and we never ask for your name, email address, phone number, payment details or identity documents.
Information collected when you visit
- Your answers in our short quizzes (for example the kind of work you want) are kept in your own browser for the current visit so the next page can show matching results. They are not sent to us.
- Usage information such as pages viewed, the link or ad that brought you here, device and browser type, approximate location (country or region) and your IP address is collected by the services below and by our hosting provider in normal server logs.
- Ad click identifiers. If you arrive by clicking one of our Google ads, the click identifier Google adds to the link is stored in your browser for up to 90 days together with a random key. That key and identifier are also sent to our own measurement server so we can tell Google Ads which of our ads bring visitors and how valuable those visits are. They do not include your name or contact details.
Cookies and third-party services
- Google Analytics measures how visitors use the site.
- Google Ads tags measure the results of our advertising.
- Meta (Facebook) pixel measures the results of our Facebook and Instagram ads: it records page visits and when you choose to watch a sponsored video, and sets Meta cookies so Meta can tell which of our ads brought you here. See Meta's Privacy Policy.
- Advertising. The site is free because it shows ads. Ads are served through Google Ad Manager and our advertising technology partners. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites, and to measure and limit how often you see them. - Hosting and security. The site is delivered through Cloudflare, which processes technical request data to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse.
Your choices
- Visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland: where the law requires your consent, we ask for it through Google's consent message before cookies are used for personalised advertising or measurement. You can accept, refuse or choose by purpose, and you can change your choice later from the privacy settings link on the page.
- Turn off personalised ads from Google at Google Ad Settings, or from many advertising companies at aboutads.info and youronlinechoices.eu.
- Control how Meta uses information from other websites for ads in your Facebook or Instagram settings, under Ad preferences.
- Opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
- You can block or delete cookies and site storage in your browser settings at any time.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in Europe or state privacy laws in the United States) you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal information about you, to object to or restrict its use, and to opt out of the use of your information for targeted advertising. Because we do not collect names or contact details, we usually cannot link information to a specific person, but we will help where we can — write to privacy@jobscurated.com. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
This site is intended for adults looking for work and is not directed at children under 16.
