Jobs in Saudi Arabia: Where to Look, Who Is Hiring, and How to Stay Safe
Saudi Arabia hires across construction, retail, hospitality, logistics, healthcare and services, and employers post openings publicly all year. This free guide shows you where those openings are listed, which government services confirm that a job and a contract are real, and the fee and visa scams to walk away from.
Where the jobs are
The parts of the Saudi labour market that hire most often. Every opening states its own requirements — read the posting.
- Construction and giga-projects. NEOM, the Red Sea, Qiddiya and Diriyah keep hiring engineers, technicians, drivers, safety officers and site workers through main contractors and staffing agencies.
- Retail, hospitality and food service. Malls, hotels and restaurants recruit sales staff, cashiers, baristas, cooks and housekeeping, and tourism growth keeps these roles open in Riyadh, Jeddah, Makkah and Madinah.
- Delivery, logistics and warehousing. E-commerce and quick-commerce hire drivers, riders, warehouse pickers and packers and dispatch staff, often with training provided.
- Healthcare, offices and technology. Hospitals, banks, telecoms and government contractors recruit nurses, technicians, accountants, administrators and IT staff. Regulated roles need the relevant Saudi licence.

How to avoid job and visa scams
- A real employer never asks a worker to pay for a job. In Saudi Arabia recruitment costs are the employer's responsibility, not yours.
- Never buy a "free visa" or a visa offered on WhatsApp, Facebook or by an agent in the street. Working on one is illegal and leaves you with no protection.
- Only use recruitment offices licensed by the Ministry. For domestic work, that means Musaned and nothing else.
- Never hand over your passport, and never send bank details or identity documents before you have a verified offer.
- Check the contract in Qiwa before you travel: the employer name, the job title and the salary must match what you were told.
Common questions
Can I apply from outside Saudi Arabia?
Yes. Employers and licensed recruitment offices hire from abroad, and every job site listed here can be used from any country. Confirm the employer exists and that nobody asks you for money.
Do I need to speak Arabic?
It depends on the role. Engineering, healthcare, technology and multinational offices often work in English, while customer-facing retail, hospitality and government-related roles usually prefer Arabic. The posting states the requirement.
Can I change employer once I am there?
Under the Labour Reform Initiative an expatriate worker can transfer between employers when the stated conditions are met, through the official platforms. Check the current rules on Qiwa before you rely on it.
What should I check before accepting an offer?
The contract in Qiwa, the job title, the salary, hours, housing and transport, who pays the recruitment cost, and that you were never asked for a payment.
